The Albertville Senior Center is a community hub dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults through meaningful connections and activities. We are committed to honoring and celebrating the wisdom, joy, and continued growth that comes with aging.

Location & Hours

Find us at 709 South Broad Street, open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Join us for fun activities, socializing, and engaging programs, including guest speakers and exciting field trips to local attractions throughout the year.

Who Can Join

If you’re 60 or older, you’re welcome here! We also provide transportation for residents within the city limits of Albertville upon request, making it easy for everyone to participate.

Meals

Enjoy a hot lunch at 11:00 AM on weekdays. Donations are voluntary, and contributions are welcome.

Homebound Meals Program

We bring hot lunches directly to qualifying seniors who are unable to prepare meals themselves. To qualify, a senior must:

• Be 60 years of age or older
• Live within the city limits of Albertville
• Be unable to prepare meals or have no one to help
• Answer a few simple questions about health and daily needs

Activities & Programs

• At the Albertville Senior Center, every day is a chance to connect, learn, and have fun. Our members enjoy a wide variety of activities, including:

  ·  Daily Devotion – A time of reflection and encouragement, led by our members

  ·  Games & Social Fun – Bingo, board games, and card games

  ·  Creative Outlets – Crafts, coloring, and a dedicated puzzle room

  ·  Health & Wellness – Weekly Tai Chi classes, access to our exercise room with fitness equipment, and monthly health screenings

  ·  Outings & Adventures – Breakfast outings, trips to the movies, and day trips to local attractions

  ·  Learning & Entertainment – Educational guest speakers and live musical performances

  ·  Relax & Connect – Indoor and outdoor seating areas, plus plenty of fellowship time with friends

Rental Information

Planning a private event? The Senior Center is available for rental at $150 per event, with a $100 security deposit. A copy of the rental terms/agreement can be found here. Please direct completed forms to Center Director, Sarah Halligan.
