About Us
The Albertville-Boaz Recycling Center began its operations in March 2009 as a joint venture among the two cities. Facilities have been opened to extend service to cities within the counties of:
- Blount
- DeKalb
- Etowah
- Marshall

The Albertville-Boaz Recycling has grown over the years and added many different products including:

- High-density polyethylene (HD) Number 2, Number 5 plastics

Board of Directors
In August of 2011 the Albertville-Boaz Recycling Authority developed a board of directors that oversees the day to day operations by virtue of hiring Jeannie Courington as the executive director. Jeannie Courington was named the Alabama Recycler of the Year in 2013 by the Alabama Recycling Coalition.
