The City of Albertville has landed another name-brand hotel.

In partnership with developer Clear Properties, LLC, the city has added a Hampton by Hilton to its ever-growing list of new developments.

The former Asia Garden Restaurant site will now be home to a new, four-storied hotel, according to a representative of Clear Properties. The representative said it would have 84 rooms, with king and double queen bedrooms. Also, the hotel’s amenities would include a meeting space, fitness room, swimming pool and the newest Hampton Inn version of exterior design.

Construction should begin approximately in February, and the representative said the estimated date of completion would be December 2020.

“The brand continues to lead its segment by providing guests with high-quality, thoughtfully designed accommodations and amenities, such as modern and spacious rooms, complimentary Wi-Fi, free hot breakfast with healthful options and On the Run breakfast bags,” the representative said. “Hampton by Hilton Team Members are committed to delivering exceptionally friendly and authentic service all backed by the 100% Hampton Guarantee. Hilton Honors members who book directly through preferred Hilton channels have access to instant benefits.”

Albertville Mayor Tracy Honea said the city is glad to welcome the well-known hotel brand.

"The city is very excited with the opportunity to have a Hilton-flagged hotel such as the Hampton Inn locate in Albertville,” Honea said. “We firmly believe a hotel of this caliber and reputation will help support the needs of the Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater in addition to being a hospitality and lodging choice for the numerous industries within our city and area."
