Library

Sadly - Albertville Public Library was extensively damaged in a fire, caused by a lightning strike, in May of 2025. Although this event was extremely unfortunate, we are excited to embark upon building a brand new and improved library that the citizens of Albertville deserve. Please visit library.cityofalbertville.com to follow our progress.

In the interim, library staff are working from a satellite location in downtown Albertville, 301 W. Main Street, Albertville, AL 35950. The satellite location will open to the public on Monday, Sept. 29, 2025, and will remain the home of APL until our new library is built. Hours are currently: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
