The City of Albertville Personnel System was established on May 2, 1977 under Ordinance No. 758. Human Resources is the cornerstone of all departments.  The Human Resources department oversees employment opportunities and manages HR for all city employees. The City of Albertville Human Resources Department is responsible for recruitment of qualified applicants, employee orientation, maintenance of personnel records, administration of employee benefits, retirement processing, compensation administration, job classification, labor market research, employee relations, labor negotiations, health & wellness administration, and regulatory compliance.
