The City of Albertville Personnel System was established on May 2, 1977 under Ordinance No. 758. Human Resources is the cornerstone of all departments.  The Human Resources department oversees employment opportunities and manages HR for all city employees. Our purpose is to supply employees with the best guidance, support, and understanding of City policies, procedures, benefits, and opportunities.  Albertville HR Department strives to achieve a positive working environment and is proud of the work force which currently represents the City.

The City of Albertville has 172 full-time benefited employees, and is a large seasonal employer. Positions include skilled labor, administrative, professional, and public safety.

The Human Resources Department develops and administers all programs associated with HR which include, but not limited to, the following:

OUR MISSION

The City of Albertville Human Resources Department is responsible for recruitment of qualified applicants, employee orientation, maintenance of personnel records, administration of employee benefits, retirement processing, compensation administration, job classification, labor market research, employee relations, labor negotiations, health & wellness administration, and regulatory compliance.
