The City of Albertville Board of Adjustments and City of Albertville Planning Commission are staffed by the Building Services Department and meet at Albertville City Hall (116 W. Main Street - Albertville).

Board of Adjustments
The Board of Adjustments consists of seven citizens. Their responsibilities are limited to deciding administrative appeals, and considering requests for special exceptions and variances. These actions are related solely to the zoning ordinances. The Board of Adjustments meets the fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm in the council chambers at Albertville City Hall.

Planning Commission
The Planning Commission consists of three officials and six citizens. Its members play an advisory role in the formulation of local developmental policies, the preparation of the comprehensive plan, and the administration of the zoning ordinance. They have decision making authority for the subdivision regulations. The Planning Commission meets the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm in the council chambers at Albertville City Hall.
