Training Unit/Professional Standards
The training unit is staffed by one sergeant and is charged with ensuring that all employees of the department receive the necessary training to perform their jobs in a professional manner. The department maintains a training facility consisting of a classroom building and firing range. It is the goal of this unit to reduce the department's exposure to civil liability by providing the most current training available to all employees.
