Special Operations Unit
The presence of a highly trained and skilled police tactical unit has been proven to substantially reduce the risk of injury or loss of life to citizens, police officers, and suspects. A well managed 'team' response to critical incidents usually results in a successful conclusion. Therefore, it is the intent of the Special Operations Unit to provide a highly trained and skilled tactical team as a resource for the Albertville Police Department in the mitigation of critical incidents.
