The Albertville Police Department initiated the e-tip program to provide citizens the ability to submit information concerning criminal activity in electronic format while remaining anonymous. 

 

 

 

If you have information relating to crimes that have been committed or suspects involved, you may provide this information by sending an e-mail message to etips@cityofalbertville.com .  All information provided is treated in a confidential manner, and it is not necessary to include your name or other personal information unless you wish to make it available.

 

What type of information should I report? 

 

Information concerning any type of criminal activity is desired.

(burglary, theft, drug activity, etc.) 

 

 

Tips received through the e-tip program will be reviewed daily and distributed to the appropriate investigator, depending on the type of information provided.

 

 

If you witness criminal activity in progress that requires an immediate response by the police department, dial 911 immediately.  The e-tip program should never be used to report a crime in progress.
