Economic Development

Albertville is committed to economic vitality through the encouragement of private and public investment, creation of jobs and increased retail opportunities.

We welcome the opportunity to discuss industrial, retail and commercial development opportunities with prospects, investors, brokers and interested parties. There are sites currently available for development as well as existing properties that could be modified to meet specific needs and requirements.  The City’s administration recognizes the competitive nature of economic development and offers incentives based on capital investment, employment and increased sales tax revenue.

The City of Albertville is located in Marshall County in the northeastern part of the State of Alabama. There are three industrial parks in the City that serve as home to a diverse industry and manufacturing base. With close proximity to I-59 (19 miles) and I-65 (44 miles) and its position at the intersection of US Hwy 431 and Alabama Hwy 75, companies find Albertville to be conveniently located to distribute goods and products easily. Several local industries also utilize the Alabama-Tennessee River Railroad to transport their products.

We hope that you will visit Albertville and discover that it is not only a great place to live but also a great place to do business because of our favorable tax base and low utility rates.
