I became interested in the fire service in early 1994, and volunteered at Albertville Fire Department from 1994-1997. I then worked with Champion Industries as a Purchasing Manager for several years. I was married in 2003, my wife asked me what I wanted in life, I told her to get back into the fire service. In 2003 I was hired full time at Albertville Fire Department. I went to rookie school at Fort Payne. I have obtained the following certifications, Firefighter l and ll, Apparatus operator pumper, Aerial apparatus operator, Fire instructor, Fire officer l and ll, Fire investigator, Rope rescue technician, Confined space rescue technician, Trench rescue technician, Structural collapse rescue technician, Hazardous materials technician, Airport firefighter, And Live fire awareness . I went to EMT basic school in 1993 and finished my paramedic in 2006 at Gadsden State Community College. I'm currently a member of the Marshall County heavy 10 rescue team. In March 2014 I was promoted to Lieutenant and currently hold that position.
I have been married 12 years to my wife Monica and have two children Jessica and Levi.
