City Council

Albertville has a Mayor-Council form of government with a Mayor and five council members that are elected at-large every four years.

The legislative functions of the City are exercised by the Council. 

The City Council holds Council meetings on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Council chambers at City Hall. Work Sessions are held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room at City Hall.  If these days fall on a legal holiday, the meeting will be rescheduled and the City Council will announce the revised schedule.

All meetings are open to public and attendance is encouraged.  To address the Council at either of these meetings, please contact the City Clerk, Phyllis Webb at 256-891-8200 or phyllis@cityofalbertville.com to be placed on the agenda.  Copies of agendas and minutes may also be requested through the City Clerk's office.
